Nivel Beginner - Intermediate
In my private piano studio, students will learn to read music, develop their musical ear, and play the piano. I have 20 years of experience teaching private music lessons to both young and old! Students will be using the method/theory book described in the “supplies” section below. I am a kind and encouraging teacher who believes that learning how to play the piano should be an enjoyable experience. I encourage my students to practice daily and develop a practice routine while building their self-discipline skills. I like to play “off the bench” games with the youngest beginners and encourage learning songs of all genres.

Students must purchase Faber’s Accelerated Piano Adventures ($8.95) and theory book ($7.99) prior to class (can be purchased via Amazon or pianoadventures.com). They will need a piano to practice on during class and throughout the week after class.

Welcome to Outschool! As a proud military spouse, I have spent the last 20 years teaching music all over the world. Currently residing overseas, I am a graduate of Rhode Island College, and have a background in accompanying and performing. I began teaching piano lessons in 2003 and have had the privilege to teach both young and old ever since! I also play the clarinet and fiddle for fun. I strive to teach a love for music and to create an encouraging, relaxed environment for my students.
Aside from teaching, I enjoy hiking, traveling, volunteering with the USO, and reading.
