What You Should Expect This is a one-time meeting time to learn anything that a student would like related to the subjects that I already teach. Options include video editing, computer technology, software configuration, video streaming, and internet safety. Teaching Material and Style For this type of class, I try to be as interactive and flexible as possible. I teach by creating parallels between tech functions and normal household processes or items. Using this method lets students draw upon things with which they are already familiar. What I Expect Students who sign up for this class are enthusiastic about computers, video games, the internet, or technology to some degree. Because this is an individualized class, it is significantly easier to teach and engage on a personal level when the zoom camera is on during class as much as circumstances allow.
Metas de aprendizaje
My own goal for students is that they end each class with a better understanding of the topic that they wanted to know more about or that the technical issues that were causing difficulties are closer to being resolved.

Hi! I’m Daniel DeZago—a Senior Technical Program Manager by day, and a passionate technology educator in my free time. I’ve worked in the tech industry for over 30 years, helping teams solve real-world problems using tools like video production software, online platforms, and—more recently—artificial intelligence. My current role focuses heavily on designing and managing systems that integrate AI in practical, ethical, and scalable ways across organizations.
Since May of 2020, I’ve been teaching on Outschool to share what I’ve learned in ways that are hands-on, clear, and engaging. I started with video editing for gamers, and quickly expanded into PC building, online platform skills, AI tools, and home networking. My classes are built around real-world use—not theory—so students walk away with useful skills and the confidence to keep learning.
Outside of work, I’m a dad to four boys (ages 7 to 14), and that shapes how I teach. Whether I’m helping kids, teens, or adults, I lead with listening, clear communication, and an emphasis on building understanding—not just memorizing steps.
I’ve also been a gamer for over 30 years and help run a Destiny clan focused on dads and family time. That spirit of community, strategy, and shared learning shows up in every class I lead.
👉 New classes are launching this summer, including video-based content and creative tech workshops.
🧠 AI-focused classes are coming in 2025, designed to help learners explore how AI works—and how to use it responsibly.
📌 Follow my profile to stay updated and be the first to hear when new sessions go live.
If your learner is curious about technology—how it works and how to create with it—I’d love to help them take the next step.
