Despite my full-time role as a Communications Director, where I regularly engage with video production, AI tools, online platforms, and general technology, I continue to teach. The joy I experience when I see students making connections in their knowledge is unparalleled. My schedule may be limited, but the fulfillment I derive from teaching is limitless.

My teaching philosophy is rooted in the power of active listening. I believe that the most profound learning experiences occur when we truly listen to others before expressing our own thoughts. This principle guides me not only when I'm teaching my four boys, who range in age from 7 to 14, but also when I'm instructing adults or students about technical processes. It's a principle that has served me well from grade school through high school, and beyond.
