1-2 horas por semana. Homework assignments for a cello student may include scales, technique exercises, and some of their favorite songs! The amount of time required for practice each week will depend on the student's current level of proficiency. Generally, a student should aim for at least 20 minutes of practice each day.Experiencia de clase
My cello class is designed to give learners of any level -- from beginner to advanced -- an opportunity to learn the basics of playing the cello, as well as develop their own unique style of playing. I will cover topics such as proper posture, proper technique, reading music, and developing a repertoire of tunes. The class is structured to provide learners with a comprehensive overview of the cello, as well as a chance to apply the concepts they learn into their own playing. I will be teaching by providing a combination of lectures, demonstrations, and hands-on exercises. I will also use the Suzuki method, some easy etudes, some technique books, video clips, and discussion to help learners gain a deeper understanding of the material. Learners will have plenty of opportunities to interact with me throughout the class. No prior experience or knowledge of cello playing is necessary for this class. I will provide learners with all the information and resources they need to begin their journey with the cello. This class is suitable for everyone between the ages of 5 and 18, regardless of level. It is an ongoing program, so you can join or leave the class at any time. Lessons can take place twice a week, weekly, or every other week, and you can choose the length of each lesson. Prices are $30 for 30 minutes, $45 for 45 minutes, and $60 for one hour. Learners must supply their own cello and bow for the classes. I will provide information about the books needed for each lesson, according to their level. If you have any additional inquiries, do not hesitate to get in touch!
