Is your Pre-K to fourth grade child struggling with reading? Or maybe they need a challenge? Early grades are so important for future educational success and tutoring one on one may be just what your child needs. Phonics, including consonant/vowel sounds, consonant blends and vowel diphthongs, and breaking larger words into manageable segments is necessary to decode unknown words. We will use phonics instruction to help you child progress in reading. If your learner needs help in English, whether building vocabulary, speaking English correctly, ESL, or learning proper grammar or spelling help, I am able to address this as well. Let me know your specific needs so we will be able to address them properly. My teaching style is methodical, building skill upon skill. Children need the foundation of the core subject of reading to have success in school as well as in life. We will start at your child’s current level and progress from there.
