🧮 About:  Private tutoring sessions are customized to help students with whatever they need in order to feel whole in their Math studies.  

This includes: 
✔️Clarifying (or teaching) concepts,
✔️Helping with homework,
✔️Studying for tests, and 
✔️Practicing problems and drills to build confidence.  

🧮 My teaching style is something I’d describe as empathic, knowledgeable and flexible.  This means that when I work with students, I try to prioritize understanding their POV and guiding them to the right answers, rather than expecting them to keep up with me.

Additionally, I help students by identifying their strengths and areas of improvement, and incorporating appropriate study skills and strategies that will facilitate their ongoing success.

🧮 I have a Bachelor's in Math, and extensive experience tutoring in practically all topics covered in traditional high school Math classes, including Pre-Algebra, Algebra, Geometry, Algebra 2, Pre-calculus, and Calculus. 

🧮 Students should come ready with their current or recent homework assignments, and any questions or topics that they feel confused about, to make the most out of our session.  

🧮 Regarding homework:  I generally assign additional homework for ongoing students when I feel it's needed, or if requested by parent/student.  Otherwise, I ask students to re-watch our tutoring session and re-do the problems we worked on from scratch.
