Nivel Beginner
Retell the classic fairytales Cinderella, Snow White, Rapunzel, and Sleeping Beauty in this 4-week self-paced beginner ballet course. Your dancer will learn ballet stretches and warmups, as well as dance moves in the center and across the floor. We'll use our imaginations (and a little magic!) along with creative movement to retell each story. Just follow along with Miss Jamie! This class uses creative storytelling as the method of instruction. This class focuses on teaching beginner ballet foundational movements like plies, spins, footwork, balancing and jumps that are appropriate for ages 4-8. No experience is required and dressing up is encouraged! I recommend taking one class per week, but you are of course welcome to retake the classes as many times as you like during your enrollment period. Self-paced learners: Interact with Miss Jamie by sending her a video of your favorite dance moves from each class. She will send you feedback in one week or less. You will also receive a coloring sheet each week!

Lección 3:
Sleeping Beauty
Retell the story of Sleeping Beauty and learn new dance moves. Focus on learning skating, ballet walks, and echappe jumps along with ballet warmups, plies, and footwork. 1 tarea
Lección 4:
Snow White
Retell the story of Snow White and learn new dance moves. Focus on learning bourree walks, soutenou turn, and arabesque along with ballet warmups, plies, and footwork. 1 tarea

Please bring along a water bottle to class and make sure you have on comfortable dance shoes, socks, or bare feet. Please provide your child with enough room to dance safely.
