What will be taught? Students can learn understanding of symbol-to-sound, exercise independence and coordination of fingers, enhance aural perception, play long sounds and short sounds on black keys, play high sounds and low sounds on black keys, play sounds that travel higher and lower, and learn math skills to better understand music. What topics will you cover? Topics covered will be teaching piano skills, keyboard awareness, and rhythmic understanding. How is your class structured? All lessons are structured to help young children understand all they need to know before learning to read music. For Example we will start off with A Rhythm Rhyme Welcome, Meet the Wunderbies, and take turns playing our Song of the Day. How will you teach? I'll teach by promoting curiosity for the piano in an age appropriate manner. What's your teaching style? My teaching style is to have patience, go off the students learning pace, and to help students retain each lesson. How much will learners get to interact with you and each other (mention specifics like: lecture, games, slides, video clips, discussion)? Learners will be interacting with me during the whole lesson using slides of different Wunderbie characters, games with short and long sounds, and songs to follow along with.
