In this class, we will conduct a morning meeting for our preschoolers. We will begin the morning with a song. We will learn a new letter every week along with the sound that it makes, sing our ABC"S, learn to check the weather, sing the days of the week, count to 20, learn a new preschool skill and read a short story. Each class will follow the same routine so that learners know just what to expect each day Some skills you can expect to learn or see in class are: Sorting by color and/or classification Shapes Activities of what does not belong Number practice Counting exercises Week 1:Sorting variety of items - Week 2: Shapes- Week 3: What doesn't belong?- Week 4:Numbers- Week 5: Counting- Week 6: Animals- Week 7: Community Helpers - Week 8: Seasons- Week 9:Sorting- Week 10: All about me- - Week 11: Transportation-

My name is Shelby Landreth. I have been in the education field for many years. I was an education specialist at a local science museum teaching home school programs, school programs, and camps of many kinds. I also have experience teaching children with special needs. I have worked with these children in a school setting as well as a clinic setting providing ABA therapy. I also own the organization Creative Minds Learning Center LLC that also hosts classes here on Outschool. If there is a class of mine that you do not currently see available or if the class is sold out you may want to check to see if I have another teacher offering the class there.
I believe that there is no reason that education and life skills cannot be fun since it is an essential part of our daily lives. If you are looking for a teacher that loves teaching and wants to teach your child a concept in a way that they will have fun and enjoy the class, you will find it in my classroom with fun games and projects that promote a lifetime fuel for learning.
