In this ongoing tutoring class, students will have the opportunity to work with the teacher one on one to develop Pre-K/Kindergarten/First Grade math skills.  Our first session will be an informal assessment type class where I will ask an array of questions in regards to different math terms to learn a little more about each student. This informal assessment will be used as a tool in creating lessons and activities to meet the needs of each individual learner. 

Sample math topics in assessment/tutoring sessions:

🏫Strategies to Learn:
I love to create lessons that will not only help students in their understanding of the concept, but also doing so while having fun! As stated above, getting to know students on a weekly basis gives me the ability to use student interest in learning activities.  Students will participate with the teacher through different games that I personally create.  In this class, students will gain a broader and better understanding in foundational math skills, appropriate to their learning/grade level. Weekly discussions will be individualized for each student and no extra materials will be needed. In the event a special lesson will be taught, materials/supplies will be posted in the classroom several days before to give students enough time to prepare.
