Tarea
2-4 horas por semana. Students will have links to Notes, Homework, Keys, etc. Students should plan on printing these out and have them placed in a 3-ring binder for use. In order to be successful it is recommended to spend some time outside of class time practicing the skill sets, especially if they are unfamiliar.
Evaluación
Online quizzes/assessments will be available so students can check their progress. If all ASSESSMENTS are completed, a letter grade will be issued.
Certificado de finalización
Students who have attended 80% of the entire class will receive a certificate of completion.

Pre-Calculus is ALL about levelling up your: Critical Thinking, Mathematical Analysis, and Conceptual Understanding. Reinforce the knowledge that you need to be successful in future whether that is Calculus, Engineering, Physics, or other math heavy subjects. 

This is a class that will meet twice a week and will cover the major Pre-Calculus Topics. This class is conducted using a general format of topic introduction, examples, and student practice.  We will also use other online resources as well, to practice and explore the conceptual understanding of the material. 

This class is recommended for those who: 
1) Want to get an Overview of the important PreCalculus concepts.
2) Want to review the knowledge learned in PreCalculus
3) Want to learn PreCalculus from scratch!

Students must have completed Algebra 2 in order to be successful. 

• Class Notes will be provided in PDF form. These should be printed off and organized. 
A 3-ring binder is recommended. 

• A variety of resources will be provided to practice the skillsets. Students should choose the mix of activities that is the most successful for them. Resources will include:

 - Homework and Solution Keys in PDF format. 
 - An online classroom will be available with links to online Quizzes/Assessments. 
 - Desmos Activities and Desmos Graphing will also be used to practice concepts.
 - Links to online practice sets (flashcards, multiple choice, escape rooms, etc.) as an alternative  way to practice the skillsets and help to gain proficiency. 

Classes will meet twice per week. 

There will be no class scheduled on the following days:
Wed, January 28
Fri, February 28
Sat & Sun, March 1-2
Sun, April 20 (Easter Sunday)
Sat-Sun, May 24-25 (Memorial Day Weekend)

Requisitos previos
Students need to have completed Algebra I (or equivalent).
Lista de útiles escolares
Students will need paper (graph paper preferred), pencil and a graphing calculator. I will be using a TI-84 ($100) in class. Other graphing calculators are fine, but I will not be able to demonstrate how they are used.

Hi! I am a Licensed Secondary Math teacher for all high-school math courses including: Algebra 2, Geometry, Pre-Calculus and AP Calculus. I've taught math for over 15 years.

I also have a BS in Mathematics, which I chose because I Just Like Math.
