Hello! Welcome to the Audition technique & Self-Taping Class. In this session, you'll learn to master your on-screen auditions. Whether you're self-taping for screen, or want to practice your acting-on-camera method, you'll learn the right tools to help you pop and be dynamic on screen. If you wish to practice a self tape session, please provide sides. We'll treat the class as though you have a selftape due. This will be a great way to practice working under a time limit. Screen is a visual medium. What works for stage might not work for camera. In this class, you'll embody the internal focus to be truly mesmerising and create an unforgettable experience on screen. You'll learn which focal points draw attention, and how to let your eyes tell the story. This simple and direct communication creates a mesmerizing and authentic self-tape! However, if you simply wish to practice your craft in between selftapings, this is another reason to take this class and keep your craft sharp. As with any practice, continued class presence produces better results. Both physical and emotional practice is more comfortable over time. Just as sports require training, acting on screen requires an ongoing physical practice. As your proficiency grows and you feel the benefits of self-taping with ease and confidence, you'll see a more relaxed and bold performer on screen, ready to ACE auditions! As a coach I suggest weekly classes of an hour. This time can also be spent on self-taping if you have an audition. I can be booked within 24 hours to help with your self-taping too.

Requisitos previos
Beginners welcome. No prerequisite classes needed. In some cases, beginners do better, since they don't have to unlearn methods from before. All that's needed is a willingness to be open.

I've coached actors in screen audition technique for 8 years. Firstly, in Tokyo, Japan, where I coached 60 actors in the art of screen acting. After Tokyo, Los Angeles and now Atlanta.
Screen is a visual medium. What works on stage may not help for screen. If the scene is emotional or loud, how to represent that range without being too big?
I like to coach actors using very simple techniques. And yes, it IS a technique.
I don't use character background or motivation much - these ARE useful for actors - as I train exclusively for camera, and how to make bring magic to that small space!
