Students will learn what animals eat poop and why they eat it. We will have a show and tell time, where students may show a favorite stuffed animal. Inspired by the book, Poop Eaters, by: Ellen Lawrence, I will guide students through picture walks and reading aloud. I will direct children in how to draw a whale poop food chain. We will watch together a short 42 second clip called "Poop Eating Sharks?" on Epic Books, as well as a clip from BBC about koala joeys. I will be screen sharing these books: Poop Eaters, by: Ellen Lawrence, Abdo Baby Animals: Elephant Calves, and Abdo Baby Animals: Koala Joeys. If time allows, students will work together to complete a reading comprehension quiz about koala joeys. We will complete the whale poop food chain. If they don’t have time to color it in class, they may finish it at home. *This is a one time class, however if your child likes, you may want to also enroll them in my other poop themed classes about astronauts and dinosaurs!*

-Student Encouragement:
Celebrating wins with students is my delight! I want them to know that I am happy to help them learn and I want them to succeed!
My hobbies include kayaking, swimming, and quilling paper art. I enjoy spending time with my friends and family at Lake Hartwell, Georgia, U.S.A., where I live with my husband, three children, and our bordoodle Princess. I hope to teach your learner soon!
