Física de Pokémon 1

Students will learn Physics in this 4-week, Pokemon themed class.

Week one: Gravity and falling objects
Week two: Forces, friction and laws of motion
Week three: Work and energy
Week four: Review and trivia games on what we've learned.

The format is a mix of lecture and presentation
 The classes are interactive and I will ask students questions during the lessons. Each class includes Pokemon quiz games to reinforce the information that students have learned. 

This course is a Pokemon themed course. All of the quiz games we play incorporate Pokemon. For example, one game requires students to correctly answer questions in order to catch and then evolve a Pokemon. I also weave Pokemon into the material as I can, although the content is not saturated with Pokemon. For example, when talking about electrical energy I include a picture of Pikachu using thunderbolt.

This class will have a co-teacher, Mr. Randy.  I am a Chemical Engineer and Randy is a Mechanical Engineer.
