Student will be taught concepts of comparing numbers with groups of: equal , greater than , and less than. Topics Class 1: Pretest/Equal Groups Practice Class 2: Greater Than Practice Class 3: Less Than Practice Class 4: Gym Battle (Post-Test) Teacher will model an application concept example -using slides ,Pokémon Cards/Content, activities, and whiteboard -to guide students for whole group instruction. Final class is a test & gym battle to earn your badge. This class will help students apply math concept for Battles. Background Knowledge: Counting 1-10S. Students will interact through lecture, slides, whiteboard, Pokémon Cards and game. Prior Experience: Very energetic class with a focus on math. Must have basic familiarity with counting 1-10 digits. Have the ability to hold a pencil and write 1 digit numbers and draw/color objects to represent numbers.
