Not only will students be introduced to wonderful classic poems by some of my favorite writers, but they will also be tasked with painting or drawing a scene from one of their favorite lines of the poem. - Students will be introduced to several writers, poems, and writing styles.
In April I will be graduating with my bachelors in creative writing where I took many poetry classes as well as double majoring in literature theory analysis.
Students should bring their own paper and art supplies to class. They are more than welcome to paint, draw, sketch, etc. Procreate is also allowed on iPads.
