En esta clase, nos reuniremos cada semana para escuchar y escribir diferentes estilos de poesía utilizando nuestra imaginación y una variedad de técnicas que inspirarán la creatividad, el amor por la escritura y la libertad de compartir opiniones a través de la escritura.

This fun and engaging course is designed to inspire your child's natural imagination while equipping them with tools to become better readers and creative writers. Poetry connects children to the importance of writing, reading, and learning by relying on their thoughts, feelings, and ideas to express themselves. We will be reading and writing poems of different genres each week. Your child will learn more about sounds in words and how to identify sounds in words and word families through rhyming poems. They will also develop editing skills by learning to revise ideas and develop more precise language. By making new connections between words, students will grow their vocabulary.
