Ciencia de las plantas: Introducción a la horticultura y la agronomía (a tu propio ritmo)

If you have a learner interested in plant science, check out this new self paced course! We will dive into topics related to horticulture and the agriculture industry. 

This is a nine week course. Each lesson includes a video lecture, which is assigned using Edpuzzle. I strive to keep my video lessons clear, consise, and engaging. On average, videos are a little less than fifteen minutes long. Edpuzzle will allow me to embed questions into our weekly video lectures for students to respond to digitally, helping to increase engagement and reinforce learning.

In addition to lesson videos, I will also provide weekly review assignments. Assignments are typically provided through Google Slides and PowerPoint. These assignments are developed to help students reinforce concepts covered through class content. Students can return these assignments for feedback and grading if desired. Assignments must be submitted by the end of the nine week course in order for students to receive feedback.

Why take a self paced course? This course could be a great choice for homeschoolers OR for students who are looking for extra enrichment and interested in learning more about the agriculture industry. Taking a self paced course allows for greater flexibility - your learner doesn't need to worry about attending set meeting times, and can complete their coursework at any time during the week. My self paced courses are also typically more inexpensive than live courses.

Learners do not need prior experience with horticulture to be successful in this class. An interest in the topic and curiosity to learn more is all you need!
