We will follow the Bastien Piano Basics Primer Level as a guide for this class. The Bastien Piano Basics books are a comprehensive piano method for beginners of all ages. This level introduces the fundamentals of piano playing, including proper technique, music theory, and sight-reading. Students will learn to play simple songs and melodies, and will begin to develop their own musical creativity.
