This class is intended to teach learners how to reinforce uppercase and lower case letters while introducing them to the letter sounds. These skills are needed to build a solid foundation in preparation for reading. Letters and letter sounds will be taught through songs, videos, games and activities. 

Every class will follow the same outline. We will begin with the alphabet song. We will review the letters and picture cards. We will watch videos that relate to the letters of that class. I will introduce real items that also have that sound (If possible). Students will repeat the name, sound, and picture. We will review how to write that letter. A game that aligns with the lesson will be introduced and reviewed. We will end with the alphabet song. The repetition is important for solidifying the information learned.

While ages 4-6 are encouraged to join, please note, if your student knows his/her letters and letter sounds, then this course may be too easy for them.  Ages 4-5 should be ready to be introduced and ages 6 should be those who have been introduced but are struggling and need additional support.
