Tutoría individualizada de habilidades fonéticas

This class is a weekly 25 minute one on one tutoring session.  This class will use an instructional approach where the teacher will support the needs of a student using a variety of strategies and activities. The teacher will also use other phonetic resources depending on the needs of the learner.  
 
In each session,  I will provide structured support in Language Arts activities focusing on the skills of letter recognition, letter sound identification and phonetic skills to begin building reading readiness.

In this ongoing tutoring class, students will have the opportunity to work with the teacher one on one to develop Pre-K/Kindergarten literacy skills.  We will use part of the first session as an informal assessment, I will ask students questions in regards to different literacy skills to assess where each student needs to start for their tutoring sessions. This informal assessment will be used as a tool in creating lessons and activities to meet the needs of the individual learner. 
Language lessons each week will include some or all of the following skills:

⭐️letter sound identification
⭐️phonological awareness
⭐️compound words
⭐️rhyming words
⭐️story elements
⭐️CVC/CVCe words
⭐️blending
⭐️digraphs
⭐️sight words
⭐️reading readiness

I will create lessons using games and activities that will help engage students in  understanding concepts we are working on.
Skills will be individualized for each student every week.
The goal of this class is to have each learner build confidence while engaging students in reading readiness activities to help increase learners letter and sound recognition.
