I will guide students through the foundations of short vowel sounds and CVC words, using a variety of approaches, including movement, sensory experiences, drawing, and word-mapping. Students will gain confidence in sounding out, reading, and spelling CVC words while sharing their ideas and work with the class. This class covers 5 weeks of CVC words. Learners that are ready to move on to digraphs can enroll in the next class - Phonics Fun in First: Level 2 - Decoding and Spelling with Digraphs. If your learner needs more review, they can stay enrolled, and we will cover new words throughout the next 5 weeks.
