Fonética para principiantes: un enfoque basado en el método Organ-Gillingham

This class is a five week class (10 lessons) that will meet twice a week. I will apply sound/symbol knowledge to spelling and reading comprehension using targeted multisensory activities and direct instruction. I will focus on decoding, encoding, and reading comprehension strategies, using multisensory activities and direct instruction to present a systematic
approach to phonics. Activities are specifically tailored to K-2nd grade students and provide practice
in phonemic awareness, sound/symbol recognition, syllabication, word formation, sentence
composition, story reading, and kinesthetic/tactile memory.
