In this one-time class students will have fun identifying the correct spelling of a picture with the short "a" sound.  Learners will choose one out of four options of CVC (consonant-vowel-consonant) words to match the picture, for example, students will see a picture of a hat and be given the words: bat, hat, fat, yat.  Students will need to select the correct button on their device.  

Kahoot's are a fun way for students to practice a skill in a fun multiple choice quiz format without it feeling like a quiz.  Learners will be given up to 1 minute to complete each question.

*Please refrain from helping your child to make it fair to all of the children who are playing.  

**Please note: Students need a separate device if they are using a tablet or phone for class.  If you are using a laptop you can use a split screen, though some students have difficulty keeping the screen split due to pushing the wrong button on accident.  You do not need an account to use Kahoot!  I will give your child the pin at the beginning of class.
