Evaluación fonética: evaluación de las habilidades de lectura y ortografía de su hijo (45 minutos)

In this one time 45 minute class, I will assess your child's phonics skills using a variety of assessments. I will give your child a decoding (reading) assessment which will give information on letter/sound recognition and what types of words (syllable patterns) your child can read. Then, I will give an encoding (spelling) assessment to see which spelling patterns your child uses. Depending on your child's needs I may use other assessments to assess your child's phonemic awareness, ability to read/write sight words, fluency, etc.  After the assessment is complete, I will write a one page report on your child's strengths, areas of growth, and make some recommendations for next steps. This assessment is a great way to learn more about your child's reading skills and what classes they would benefit from taking.
