En este curso de 6 semanas practicaremos la segmentación (sonido y combinación de sonidos) de palabras, leeremos y escribiremos varios patrones de ortografía y palabras de alta frecuencia para ayudarnos a convertirnos en mejores lectores.

Nivel Beginner - Intermediate
The class will meet three times per week (Monday-Wednesday) and we will cover segmenting (sounding and blending) words, various spelling patterns and syllable types, and high frequency words. We will start the lesson with any celebrations we may have or discuss what we learned from the previous session and end the session with an independent practice opportunity and questions the students may have. We will be utilizing whiteboards, dry erase marker and paper for whole group and independent practice.

YouTube will be used to introduce topics and conclude a lesson such as syllables and vowel teams. An account may need to be created.

Whieboard and dry erase marker (can be found at Dollar Tree or any Dollar Store) and journal or loose leaf paper. High frequency list will be given beginning- middle of the course.
