Ancient Greeks believed that philosophy begins with wonder.  Young learners make excellent philosophers because they naturally wonder about many things! In this course, we explore and foster that sense of wonder. Philosophy means “love of wisdom” and through this course, your young learners will become wise about themselves, the people around us, and the world we live in.  We will explore abstract ideas that philosophers have been discussing for centuries! 

This is an Ongoing Course, students can join for one week, or more than one week! Each week we will cover a different philosophical question or a quandary. At the beginning of the session, we will briefly learn about the philosopher who inspires our discussion that week. Students will work together to complete the corresponding activities and we will have a whole class discussion debating and discussing the question of the week. Videos are expected to be on due to the discussion nature of the course, however if there are extenuating circumstances please reach out ahead of time!

Topics: Philosophical topics covered will fall into these four categories: Values, Knowledge, Reality and Critical Thinking. 
Learners will love discussing and arguing about these topics!
