The course will give individualized instruction in piano. Topics covered include:
Keyboard orientation- learning names of keys
Rhythm- quarter  , half and whole note counting
Theory- learning notes on the staff, and playing songs
Technique- proper posture and hand position

A 30 minute lesson would include a portion from all these topics, gradually increasing in knowledge and ability. Class is interactive with questions and answers, demonstrations and worksheets. I teach with a relaxed, fun style with much encouragement. No previous knowledge required though intermediate students also accepted.
