In this weekly book club, we will explore nonfiction books that inspire creativity, personal growth, and confidence. Through guided discussions, interactive activities, and goal-setting exercises, learners will develop a stronger mindset, gain valuable life skills, and build a supportive community with fellow creatives and performers. This class is also ideal for intermediate to advanced English learners who want to improve speaking, listening, and critical thinking skills in a fun, interactive environment!

🌟 Why Choose My Classes? 🌟
My classes are intentionally kept small to ensure each student gets personalized attention, so they feel supported and confident throughout the lesson. Some sections are especially small—only 2 students—which allows me to truly focus on each child's unique needs and progress. This is a fantastic opportunity for kids who thrive with extra guidance and one-on-one interaction!

What topics will we cover?
Each week, we will focus on a different topic related to personal development, creativity, and success, using books that offer practical strategies and inspiring insights.

Upcoming Weekly Topics:
✅ Creativity & Innovation in the Arts
✅ Confidence & Mindset for Performers
✅Emotional Intelligence Applied to Creative Fields
✅ Goal Setting & Productivity for Creatives

Other potential topics may include:
🔹 Managing the Business Side of Creative Fields
🔹 Handling Rejection & Setbacks
🔹 The Psychology of Success & Motivation
🔹 Learning from Successful Artists & Performers

(Topics will rotate, and new ones may be added based on student interests.)

My Teaching Style
My goal is to make each student feel valued, heard, and empowered. This is not a lecture-based class—students will be actively participating, engaging in conversation, and applying ideas in creative ways. I believe in:

✨ Positive encouragement – Every student has something valuable to contribute.
✨ Interactive & discussion-based learning – Learning happens best when students are involved.
✨ Real-world application – The goal is not just to read books but to use the ideas to grow as a creative and performer.

I recently published my own book, The Secret Dance Technique, in which we build mental skills in the context of dance. With a background in performance psychology and dance, I bring a unique perspective on how mindset impacts success in the arts. I love helping students develop the mental tools they need to thrive in their creative journeys!

How much will learners interact?
This is a highly interactive class! Students will engage in:
🔹 Group discussions (sharing insights, opinions, and experiences)
🔹 Fun activities (goal-setting, creative prompts, mindset challenges)
🔹 Q&A and open conversations (space for students to ask and share freely)

Although reading the book is advised, it is not required—students can still participate even if they haven’t read the book, as discussions will be accessible to everyone.

I can’t wait to meet you and help you grow in confidence, creativity, and personal development! 🎭

I am the author of "The Secret Dance Technique," a book that explores essential mental skills through the lens of dance. It includes extensive research on the topic and interviews with many professionals.
I hold a Bachelor of Arts degree with dual majors in Psychology and Interdisciplinary Studies, specializing in Performance Psychology, with a minor in Dance. My teaching experience spans two years at an elementary school in Spain, alongside teaching dance across various U.S. states and to a global student base online. I have also performed worldwide, including at Walt Disney World, Motiongate Dubai UAE, and on a cruise ship. These diverse experiences as both a dancer and educator have shown me how vital skills like focus, resilience, creativity, and divergent thinking are—not just in the arts, but in every area of life.

*For English language learners, it's worth noting that I am TEFL certified with 2 years of experience as an international English language assistant. This experience allows me to support ESL students effectively, making my classes a great opportunity for language development in a fun and engaging environment.
