The students will be taught or reminded what perimeter and area mean, mathematically.  They will go through exercises to check their understanding as well as challenge themselves in some real-life scenarios of calculating both and applying both.  I try to have a fun and upbeat classroom by using a slideshow as well as snippets of videos to keep them engaged and focused.  I will also play a game to check their understanding if it is possible. I am a teacher and I want them to be confident and comfortable with these skills.  

*For one of the games, a separate device might be required.  If you are using a laptop or Chromebook it should be fine.  Hellosmart.com is a site they may visit if time allows but I would like to continue to keep them on Zoom until the class is over.  An alternative, they can split their screen using the two windows.
