In this course, students will be given guided practice problems to converting fractions and decimals into percents, converting percents into fractions and decimals, and how to find the percentage of a given number. This should not be the student's first exposure to this mathematical operation. Students will be given immediate feedback, guided error correction, and reteaching as needed during the class. Strategies such as using visual models to find answers will be demonstrated as needed. Students should have a basic understanding of decimal place value and multiplication before attending this class. Please schedule your sessions carefully, as missed sessions will not be rescheduled or refunded.
