In this course, students will be given guided practice problems to calculate percent and to solve percent word problems (tax, tip, etc). This should not be the student's first exposure to this mathematical operation. Students will be given immediate feedback, guided error correction, and reteaching as needed during the class. Students should have a basic understanding of percents and decimal/fraction operations before attending this class. Please schedule class sessions carefully, as missed classes will not be rescheduled or refunded.
