Ready to fall in love with painting? No painting experience is necessary.......Really! Just paint - a - long with Ms. Muse and by the end of class time, you will have created a masterpiece! Students will follow along step by step, as I paint details right in front of them. I will demonstrate how the paint colors work together and we'll layer these to create beautiful paintings with depth. They will learn painting terminology and some easy to remember techniques that they can use in their own artwork. If they choose, students can always share their masterpiece at the end of the class. (This is never required) It's really exciting to see how proud they are of their work. ____________________________________________ Watch as they improve with each painting they create! See you soon!

SUPPLIES • Acrylic paints : Any acrylics will work. Craft acrylic paints such as Apple barrel or Craft Smart dry quickly and have great colors. ACRYLIC Paint Colors White Dark or bright pink Blue purple black Tiny dot of yellow Tiny dot of orange. • 11x14 surface such as Canvas /canvas panel /canvas paper /watercolor paper/thick multi- media paper/wood *Please note, the structure/ timing of the class is geared toward SPECIFICALLY 11x14 or smaller . This manageable size allows for ample time to work on each step, and for all levels of painters to enjoy success. • SHORT HANDLED brushes : (flexible, synthetic bristles please) • 3/4 “ or 1 " Flat wash brush •Medium sized ROUND brush ( size 8 ) with a point or flat /angled brush • Small Detail brush with a nice point. • 2 Bowls of water •EXTRA paper towels •Paper plate for paints and one for mixing. SETTING UP YOUR PAINT STATION: Long hair should be tied back Paint flat on a protected table surface. Please position ALL supplies on SAME SIDE of table NEXT TO the hand you paint with . Computer/device to be faced directly ahead for head on viewing of student and painting. • A headset is recommended . ____________________________________________
