Does your child love to play Among Us?  Do they need to practice their writing skills?  If the answer to both is yes, then this is the class for them.  

Students should be able to independently write a complete sentence or have an adult sit with them and help during class. Students will write a 5-7 sentence paragraph during this class. 

Paragraphs are so important in writing. It is not enough to simply have good ideas. Ideas need to be organized and easy to read.  

We use the hamburger paragraph writing method to organize and write a paragraph. We complete four steps (brainstorm, organize, correct mistakes, final draft) with the final outcome being a great paragraph. 

Worksheets will be uploaded prior to class for students to print and bring to class.

In the event of a small class size (1-3 students) class may finish early, if we finish writing early.
