Little people have such big emotions; they feel everything! This is a wonderful part of who they are and how they are learning to communicate with their world. This class will allow students the opportunity to identify some of those feelings and also discuss strategies we use for some of the challenging ones in our day. A range of emotions and feelings is a wonderful part of our lives. We will talk about what makes us happy, sad, disappointed and upset - and also what we can do to help cope with those bigger feelings. What strategies do we use when things are overwhelming? How do we show our excitement to our friends and family? We will work on an activity sheet together and the students will then colour, cut and add popsicle sticks (if available) to make little puppets. Little learners will have plenty of opportunity to share and practice their communication with the group.
