In this personalized art study learners will have an opportunity to build skills and develop artistic language through engagement with the teacher only. In this weekly art practice the teacher will introduce learners to a key art concept and we will use our time together to explore those concepts live during class time. Learners can expect a new topic to be discussed each week with an underlying theme each month, for example March may be "Watercolour Month" and each class will look at a different watercolour experience. These lessons do not build upon the previous class or knowledge but when combined give learners a well rounded understanding of various techniques and materials. Learners will work on an exploration of the key art fundamentals and complete sketches, exercises, drawings, colour wheels, and more! in their weekly art practice. Learners who wish too have the option to work on an art project of their own, and make progress with the teacher's guidance and expertise are encouraged to consider the listing 'Individual Custom Art Lessons' found at the following link : https://outschool.com/classes/individual-custom-art-lessons-GAcZYhkz?usid=dmMhTMXF&signup=true&utm_campaign=share_activity_link. Learners must be prepared to engage with the teacher on camera , show work, and complete assignments or exercises. Learners will be expected to come to class prepared and communicate in the outschool classroom. Please contact the teacher if you wish to enroll more than one learner ( siblings ) , this is allowed but each sibling will need to be registered even if using the same device. Because of the ongoing nature of this class learners will want to ensure they are communicating with the teacher about the materials needed for each week. This listing is ideal for learners who are looking for specialized personal instruction with a working artist, learners who are serious about learning new techniques or advancing their skills. This listing would also be suitable for artists looking to build, develop, or strengthen their art portfolio. This listing would be ideal for learners who are less focused on the social interaction with other learners and are looking for a low commitment way to work with an artist who is dedicated to your success. Mrs. Ross/Ms. Sharon's return learners will find the same supportive and encouraging method of artistic discovery and will recognize the cooperative nature of learning together as fellow artists would in her art studio. For questions about whether or not this listing is right for you/your learner, please message the teacher to discuss before enrolling.
