Week 1Lesson 1Introduction to JapaneseGetting to know the language with fundamental terms, learn the first 2 lines of hiragana (10 hiragana in total).Lesson 2The Sound, Pronunciation and Special SymbolsLearn how to pronounce hiragana, how to read hiragana with special symbols, learn the third and fourth line of hiragana (10 hiragana in total).Lesson 3Greetings & Self-IntroductionLearn the appropriate greetings for different situations. Learn the fifth and the sixth line of hiragana (10 hiragana in total).Lesson 4Learn how to count up to 99!Learn how to count up to 99, and talk about one's age. Learn the seventh and the eighth line of hiragana (8 hiragana in total).Lesson 5Talk about family!Learn how to talk about family members. We'll also learn the last 8 hiragana to complete our learning of all hiragana.
- Students will learn to read and write simple Japanese. Students will be able to introduce themselves and family members, and friends. Students will be able to count up to at least 100.
