Assessment will be fun as well as formative, in the form of verbal feedback and quizzes in the lesson for the students' immediate feedback and confidence building as well as to inform my planning for the next lesson. Along with optional homework, optional assessments will be offered to those whose parents would like to ensure that they complete it and return it to me for marking.Calificación

Equally I can send you an assessment to complete based on age-related expectations for you to complete for us to devise a plan of action for your learning. I like to start classes with an activity which acts as a recap activity or prompts Mathematical discussion and verbal reasoning. Following this we will move onto the main part of the lesson, where we will discuss method, understanding and previous misconceptions, work through exercises, exam-style questions, then enjoy some games or quizzes to assess your understanding of the topic. I am approachable, friendly and like to make learning fun, meaningful and memorable while ensuring deep understanding, care to avoid misconceptions and mistakes and build students' confidence.

I will present powerpoint slides displaying Math questions (or French and Spanish vocabulary, phrases etc) which learners may wish to copy into an exercise book then include their own working out and answer. A mini whiteboard and dry-wipe pen may be of use. Pen, pencil, ruler, eraser, pencil sharpener, protractor and calculator would also be of great benefit.

Any Math questions sourced from other websites would be pasted into the powerpoint presentation used in the lesson, so students would not need to visit any other websites.
