We will begin with short introductions and say hello to each other. We will be warming up and stretching to Mermaid music. Following that we will begin to learn the Ballet Techniques that will be in our dance. We will dance to many different songs about Mermaids like "Part of Your World," "Mermaid Ballet," and more! To end our class, we will play a game of Freeze Dance to "Mermaid Party." I hope you will join me for an "under the sea" good time!

With any sport or activity like this, caution should be taken. Please inform the instructor of any health concerns that may affect your learner. Proper attire (comfortable clothing), an adequate amount of space, and a water bottle would be a good thing to have for our class.

I teach Movement classes in studio and online as well! I have been teaching dance for 15+ years to all ages (18months - adult) as well as Fitness classes to kids and adults. Dance has been a major part of my life for 32 years and I love bringing that passion to others. I've worked with young and old, special needs, low-impact or injured, wheel-chair bound, and all others!
I believe that Dance/Movement is a rare "sport" that is all-inclusive; gross and fine motor skills, spatial awareness, emotionally stimulating, builds self-confidence, improves discipline & listening skills, and much more.
My family consists of my super supportive husband, my oldest daughter (10) youngest daughter (8), and then the littlest one is 5years old, but he was born 3-1/2 months early. We spent a significant amount of time in the NICU in the city we live in and are forever grateful for modern medicine! Our life has been a rollercoaster and, as crazy as this sounds, I wouldn't have it any other way... mostly. haha!
Being a mama myself, I try to be flexible with my schedule and appreciate the understanding from parents as I navigate our medically complex son's needs as well as two active girls!
I offer discounts to siblings, love to work with groups that want to dance together online, and I am always willing to work with you on group discounts, multi-class discounts, and one-on-one private lessons!
