In this class your child will learn proper siting position at the keyboard/piano and proper hand positions. I will also introduce the finger numbers to them. My style is interactive and I will listen to the student play. Student do not require any previous experience in piano. I will go over the black keys in the C4 octave. I will introduce them to listening to high, low and middle notes with a listening activity. The student will learn a simple song, Hot Cross Buns, on the black keys. ...
I have a Bachelor's degree in Music Education and over 25 years experience in teaching children, preschool through high school I am kind and patient and love to laugh. This is a safe place for your child.
A piano or keyboard (preferably at least 61 keys) I ask that you position the keyboard so that the child and the piano keys are visible. Thank you.
