Welcome to One on One Tutoring for Creative Writing With a Twist! In this class learners will work on their creative writing skills in a fun and engaging way. This class will start like any other writing class. We will talk about the key elements a short story has, discuss what makes a good short story by adding details, using strong words, and edit our work. To make things a little more interesting each week students will pick 4 words from a list that they will have to include in their...
- Learners will write a short story and incorporate 4 random words into their story. Learners will understand the elements that make up a short story. Learners will understand the meaning of various words and use them appropriately in their short story.
Ms. Katelynn has been a teacher for the past eight years. She has experience working as an online teacher and a brick and mortar teacher. She is a certified special education teacher with experience working with students in kindergarten through grade five. She loves to teach and share her passion for learning with her students. It is Ms. Katelynn's goal to show her students that they can be successful in the classroom and help them gain the confidence they need to do so!
