We will learn about sharks, dolphins, whales, jellyfish, stingrays octopuses, and more! We will also touch on ocean zones. FREE Worksheets, printable review sheets, and pages from class are available to print with purchase of class. The student doesn't need these for class, but they are encouraged to use them, and post their work in the classroom. You will have unlimited access to the teaching videos, via the private YouTube link. This is a fun and upbeat FLEXIBLE class. You can watch the videos and complete your worksheets at anytime. Video 1 - INTRO TO SEA LIFE How big is the sea? What are ocean zones? What types of animals live in the sea? Video 2- SHARKS and RAYS We will get to know more about sharks and rays. Shark eggs are really cool! Video 3- DOLPHINS, WHALES, OCTOPUSES We will get to know more about dolphins, whales, and octopuses. Octopuses have 3 hearts! Video 4- JELLYFISH AND OTHER AWESOME SEA CREATURES We will get to know more about jellyfish, cool looking sea creatures, and more! Moon jellyfish have 5 stomachs! All resources will be available on the first day of class. Lecture videos, review videos, downloadable worksheets, and scanned book pages. The classroom will be available to answer questions and talk with fellow students. I will be answering questions in the classroom, during the 4 weeks. Ask away! You can continue to access the videos and other resources, anytime. Feel free to message me with any further questions, after class. I'd love to answer them for you.

Hello!
I'm Melanie. I have 2 small kiddos of my own, and a spoiled cat. We love road trips, the library, our local zoo, food, and movie nights. I homeschool my children, and I believe in learning through play.
I have been teaching for 13 years, if you include my teaching assistant days. I have experience teaching children ages 0-12. I currently teach English to students in China, and it's so much fun. I've also worked with magazines and websites, since 2007. I write articles, take photos, and produce videos.
I have a degree in business, with a concentration in psychology and social services. I also have a degree in advanced automotive technology. I love working on cars, and I'm a big believer in STEAM learning.
