This 4-day camp is perfect for learners interested in making their own oboe reeds. In order to get the most out of this class, students should have at least 1 year of experience playing the oboe. They should also have a reed making kit, and feel comfortable using the tools in the kit, including a reed knife. Each day we'll work on a new step in the reed making process. Depending on the learner, they should have a playable reed by the end of the class. Information in class will be presented through the use of slides and live demonstration.
Metas de aprendizaje
By the end of the class, students should feel confident in the basic steps to create a reed.
