In this engaging one-hour class, students will learn about holistic nursing care, emphasizing the integral role families play in supporting patients' health and well-being. Key topics will include:

Introduction to Holistic Care: Understanding the concept and principles of holistic care in nursing.
Family Dynamics: Exploring how family relationships influence patient health, coping mechanisms, and recovery.
Communication Techniques: Learning effective ways to communicate with patients and their families to foster trust and collaboration.
Cultural Competence: Recognizing diverse family structures and beliefs, and how these impact care approaches.
Self-Care for Caregivers: Discussing the importance of self-care for nurses and families, promoting overall well-being.

My teaching style is interactive and student-centered, ensuring that learners are actively engaged throughout the class. Here’s how we will achieve this:

Lecture and Discussion: I will introduce key concepts through brief lectures, followed by open discussions to encourage students to share their thoughts and experiences related to family dynamics in healthcare.
