Números y conteo con la Sra. Theresa

🔵 Numbers and counting with Ms Theresa is a twice weekly preschool math class where children will learn numbers 1-50. We will start off with each class learning one number (two numbers per week) then we will move onto learning beginning adding and subtracting numbers.
✏️Weeks 1-25: we will go in numerical order and learn two numbers a week (for example week 1 numbers 1 and 2; week 2 numbers 3 and 4; and so on). There will be worksheets for each number for the children to practice and apply what they are learning. When a section of this class starts I will post in the classroom which week we are currently on. You can come each week to learn all the numbers or just stop by and join us for the number we are currently working on. 
✏️After learning all numbers 1-50, we will begin learning adding and subtracting (take away) numbers. I will use pictures and objects to show adding and subtracting. 
🔵 Each class will meet for 20 minutes. We will begin class with a welcome song, calendar and weather. We will sing a number song. Then we will learn our number and have class worksheets that we will work through to practice the number. Finally we will sing our goodbye song. 
🔵 My teaching style is interactive and I want to make sure all the children understand and have time to compete the activities. Also if you have any questions, please feel free to message me. 
🔵 There will be printable PDF worksheets I will post in the classroom at the beginning of the week to use for both classes during the week. Also markers, crayons or something to write and draw with should able to use during class. An extra supply that would be helpful to have is something they can count with. For example it can be anything like counter cubes, blocks, goldfish crackers, anything that they can count along with that you have at home.
