In this 5 week teacher directed but student led class, students will not only read the text of The Great Gatsby but also research the historical context of the story, observe character descriptions, and discover literary techniques used by the author. Through careful analysis of the text and topic related projects, students will see the lasting power of F. Scott Fitzgerald's The Great Gatsby.
