Esta clase se imparte en Inglés.

- Explore various wildlife careers in North America.  
- Create a wildlife management plan for urbanization of coyotes in North America. 
- Understand how data and research are conducted to gather knowledge about wildlife. 
- Determine causes of extinction or preservation in North American wildlife. 
- Use evidence to explain current management issues concerning wildlife in North America. 
- Identify the different adaptations of wildlife groups and classify them by these groupings. 
- Construct and explanation for how wildlife behaviors affect the ecosystem around them. 
- Analyze and interpret data for how environmental factors affect wildlife survival and population. 
- Understand current laws and regulations concerning wildlife in North America. 
- Understand current laws and regulations associated with public and federal lands in North America.

I have taught middle and high school science for the last 7 years in addition to 5 years of tutoring middle and high school students in several different courses. I have taught this content in particular for over three years and it is one of my favorites!

Detalles: Students may required to complete 20-30 min of homework, reading, activities, etc. per each live lesson (totaling about 1 hour per week). These will be assigned before the end of each live class if needed.  
Evaluación
Frecuencia: 3-6 durante toda la clase
Detalles: Assessments will be given as an indication of how well as student is learning the content and skills for the class and to help me continuously develop better curriculum. Students will be assigned a number on a proficiency scale* that lets the student, parent, and teacher know how the student is doing. Each assignment will have a rubric attached to it letting the student, parent, and teacher know the expectations for the assessment. 

Assessments may be multiple choice, free response, modeling, or many other types. Most assessments will be taken in class, but some may be at-home projects. 

Assessment retakes and/or revisions will be provided and encouraged.

Detalles: Grades will be provided by default to all learners. If students do not want their students graded or to not have access to their grades, please let me know.

Grades allow students, parents, and myself to understand where the student is at in their learning.
