Campamento de Minecraft de mitología nórdica: ¡conviértete en el héroe de tus historias favoritas!

Many of the tropes and beings we see in fantasy today are derived from Norse Mythology! Join me in adventuring the Nine Realms of Norse Mythology, where we will meet Trolls, Dwarves, Giants, Faeries, and follow the tales of Thor, Loki and Odin in these fantastical worlds.

Each class we will discuss and review the characters of Norse Mythological stories, then reenact them in the Minecraft world. Over the course of the week we will build, do lots of exploring, compete in games, scavenger hunts, player vs. player activities, and more all in survival mode Minecraft. 

Over the course of the week we will explore:
- The world creation and world tree
- Visit Asgard, Land of the Aesir Gods (Thor/Odin)
- Locate and learn about Loki's Children (the world serpent, Fenrir the giant dog, and Hel, ruler of  Helheim or the underworld)
- Svartalfheim, or the Dwarven Kingdom (or Land of the Dark Elves)
- Jotenheim, the Land of the Giants
- Alfheim, land of the Light Elves
- Muspelheim, Land of the Fire Giants
- Fight in Ragnarok, or the end of the cosmos!

THIS IS NOT A JAVA EDITION CLASS! There are two versions of Minecraft that run on different code: Java (PC, Mac, Linux) and Bedrock. This class uses Bedrock, and is compatible with the following devices: PC with Windows 10, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, PS4, PS5, phone or tablet version. Please make sure your child has online-play enabled with their Microsoft account, including Nintendo Switch Online, Xbox Live Gold, and PlayStation® Plus subscriptions for their respective device. I will give more detailed instructions about friending me and joining class upon registering.
