Nihongo No Niwa 101: Realizar curso (nivel principiante a principiante avanzado)

Esta es una clase más intensiva que la clase Sakura. Si bien seguimos operando dentro del modelo de "principiantes nuevos", el trabajo del curso es más exigente y se enseña contenido más complejo. Es obligatorio graduarse de Sakura o realizar el examen para entrar en Take.

Tarea
1-2 horas por semana. Worksheets will be given out to students to be completed for the next class. Hiragana packets will be given out but won't be assessed. Students can learn the Hiragana since Matsu (the next level after Take) utilizes Hiragana greatly.
Evaluación
There will be quizzes after each section that focuses on both a written assessment plus a speaking assessment. Tests will occur three times with a final assessment test given to go to Matsu Class.

In our class, students will cover the following but may change depending on the student and the student's preferences:

◎Where Things Are Located: Learn to describe locations with phrases like "in front of," "behind," and more.
◎Verbs (Present, Present Negative, Past, Past Negative): Master verb conjugations to express various actions.
◎Adjectives (Present, Present Negative, Past, Past Negative): Describe things using adjectives in different tenses.
◎Time and Time-Related Vocabulary: Use words like "always" and "sometimes" to discuss routines and habits.
◎Question-Related Words: Form and understand questions for effective communication.
◎"I Want to..." (たい Form): Express desires using the たい form of verbs.
◎Dictionary Form of Verbs: Learn the base form of verbs for building complex sentences.
◎てーForm of Verbs: Use the て-form for various grammatical structures and linking actions.
◎"Please ~" (Asking Someone to Do Something): Make polite requests.
◎"May I ~" (Asking Permission): Request permission for actions.
◎"You Mustn't ~" (Prohibitions): Communicate rules and restrictions.
◎Explaining Two Actions Occurring One After Another: Describe sequences of events.
◎Present Continuous: Talk about what they are currently doing.
◎Showing a Result of Action: Discuss how actions lead to the current state of things.

Hiragana and Katakana will be taught with homework given but no assessments. If you wish to learn more about reading and writing, please enroll in Japanese 1 on 1: Susuki which focuses on reading and writing in Japanese. Both courses (Susuki and Take) can be taken concurrently.

I teach four levels of Japanese at a high school level. I previously lived in Japan for 10 years where I taught English. I also helped fellow foreigners learn Japanese over there as well as was an orientation staff member for those who newly arrived in Japan. I have 5 years of formal Japanese learning experience.
