Welcome to Neurodivergent Social and Emotional Learning! This course is a personalized, ongoing class designed to foster a supportive and empowering environment for neurodivergent learners. Lessons use a strength-based approach to equip learners with tools to help them navigate challenges and grow in autonomy, confidence, and self-esteem. - Learners will gain age-appropriate social-emotional skills in the areas of self-advocacy, self-management, social awareness, self-awareness, relationship skills, and responsible decision-making.
Welcome! I am Dr. Syreeta. I love helping learners develop the emotional skills and confidence they need to thrive socially and academically. My training is in clinical psychology with a focus on parent-child attachment and family therapy. My Outschool classes are not therapy or a medical service.
Parental guidance is not required for this course. Parents should be aware that this course provides educational content and skill development and is not therapeutic in nature. If you are seeking therapeutic support or assistance with mental health concerns, it is important to consult with a licensed therapist, counselor, or mental health professional who can provide the appropriate guidance and support.
