In this class, students will learn in-depth about the farthest planet from the Sun: the ice giant, Neptune. Students will learn in depth details about the planet, Neptune. They will learn about the atmosphere and its supersonic winds; its Coriolis effect and how that affects dark vortices, including the Great Dark Spot; details about the Great Dark Spot and other dark spots that have come and gone; the story of how Neptune was discovered, including how Galileo first discovered it and mistook...
- Students will learn basic facts about Neptune. Students will learn about the discovery of Neptune. Students will learn about the atmosphere of Neptune. Students will learn about the formation and end of dark vortices like the Great Dark Spot and other dark spots on Neptune. Students will learn about Neptune's largest moon, Triton.
I am a substitute teacher with knowledge in multiple subjects in K-12 grade levels. I am fascinated by space and the Solar System and enjoy learning more about the planets and sharing that knowledge with others.
